What You See What It Means What To Do
Item not added after scanning Barcode may not be a scale barcode or prefix not recognised Check that the label was printed by the scale, not another device. Verify Scale Accepted Prefixes in PH Settings.
"Scale item not found" No item in PH POS has a PLU matching the barcode Open the item record and make sure the Scale PLU number matches what is programmed in the scale
Wrong item appears Two items have the same PLU number Check all Scale PLU fields are unique across your items
Weight appears as zero or very small Label may be damaged or the item was barely on the scale Ask the customer to re-weigh — the scale will print a fresh label
"Invalid barcode" message The label is crumpled, torn, or was not read cleanly Re-scan or reprint the label at the scale
Price is incorrect in PRICE mode The item has no selling price set in PH POS Add a price for the item in the active price list
